We are Helium Mining Shop. An Australian based seller of accessories to be used with helium hotspots for helium mining on the helium network.

Helium is a global, distributed network of hotspots that create public, long-range wireless coverage for LoRaWAN-enabled IoT. Anyone can purchase a hotspot and join the network making possible a globally connected Internet-of-Things.

By connecting your hotspot to the internet and delivering robust radio LoRaWAN to your local neighbourhood you provide value to IoT users. Your connectivity is witnessed and verified by other hotspots (beacons) in nearby hexes. Likewise, your hotspot can witness and verify others. You are rewarded for this activity with HNT - the Helium Network Token. This is deposited every few hours directly into your helium wallet, and can be traded on cryptocurrency markets.

You need a helium hotspot, an internet connection, and a well-placed long-range antenna.

We sell high gain omnidirectional and directional antennas for use with your existing hotspot, together with various cables, filters, connectors and mounting brackets to help you get the most out of your helium mining setup.

Putting your antenna outdoors, high-up, and ensuring good coverage of a large area and long distance all help to ensure more witnesses and a greater transmit scale.

Using a cavity filter can isolate signal coming from your antenna to exactly the frequency band used by LoRaWAN in your country thereby reducing noise and increasing signal-strength.

Also, if there are additional hotspots in your hex, you can use a directional antenna to divide the coverage area into sectors and extend range in a specific direction.
